Lovely stay  [Dory's Magic]
This is a genuine review highlighting both the positives and the not-so-good aspects of our stay. Firstly, it is a lovely large villa with plenty of space for all guests. The kitchen was supplied with all the necessary utensils, including an electric kettle for my morning cups of tea (not all U.S. villas have these). The dishwasher worked fine but definitely needs updating, as it was very noisy. Plenty of towels were provided, along with starter kits such as dishwasher tablets, refuse bags, and toilet rolls, which was very much appreciated. The location to Disney was excellent and exactly as advertised. The lake view at the rear provided sightings of alligators and turtles, and the villa was not overlooked by neighboring properties. With the pool lighting, the pool was excellent for late-evening swims, especially after hot days at the parks. There are a couple of areas in the villa that are looking tired, namely the doors leading to the pool area and the master bedroom bathroom. The pool enclosure and netting could also use some attention. The most annoying feature was the alarm that sounded whenever the patio door was opened. I understand why it is there; however, it became quite frustrating. Another concern for me was the shower floor in the master bathroom, which was quite slippery, so perhaps a bath mat would be helpful. I needed to contact Sri while staying in the villa regarding a few minor issues, and he returned my texts almost immediately, which was much appreciated. We did not use any of the facilities at Emerald Island Resort; however, I can say that the grounds appeared very well maintained and clean. Overall, we had a terrific time staying at Dory's and were sad to leave. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking to book. Hopefully, we will be able to return in the near future.

For those considering a stay, please note that the small section of loose pool screen netting mentioned in the review had already been identified and scheduled for replacement. The repair is being completed as part of our ongoing maintenance program. You may also notice that the patio doors are equipped with alarms. These alarms are not optional—they are required by Florida law on all doors providing direct access to a swimming pool and are an important safety feature, especially for families with young children. Regarding the master bathroom shower, bath mats are provided for guest use. If anything is missing or needs attention during your stay, we encourage guests to contact us, and we respond as quickly as possible. We're pleased that the reviewer enjoyed the spacious layout, lake views, private pool, Disney location, and the well-maintained grounds of Emerald Island Resort. Great Resort  [Dory's Magic]
Emerald Island is a quiet, safe neighborhood to walk and we love the playgrounds, mini golf, and wildlife viewing. This was our first stay at this villa and we enjoyed it. Floors and kitchen are updated, great game room, so much space to spread out. The owner was friendly from start to finish and very quick to respond when we had issues with the pool. This is our favorite resort!

Another great stay  [Pluto's Magic]
This was our 5th stay with Sri and the various properties he manages via Emerald Island Rentals. This was also our 5th different property we’ve stayed at. Over the years we’ve stayed 3 townhouses. One 7 bedroom and this stay was at Pluto’s, a 4 bedroom. All have been wonderful stays. The properties are all as advertised as we love knowing with experience they are all clean and very well maintained. Few years back the only issue we’ve ever had was a washing machine malfunction that is not the fault of the property owner, just bad luck, and Sri worked with us immediately to resolve the issue by giving us a code to an empty rental so we could do laundry. The washer was fixed within 2 days. Sri is a fantastic communicator and a better property owner. I highly recommend. What a great villa we stayed in. It is close to all the Disney parks. Beautiful neighborhood. Great house with all the amenities you could want. Clean and well kept. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone. The process to rent the villa was also an easy process. Great value for all you get.

It was a pleasure staying at Emerald Island resort. Emerald was a nice clean and comfortable home. An Awesome vacation spent. A home away from home we had absolutely NO PROBLEMS. We had a wonderful stay at the Emerald Magic House. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable throughout our stay. The resort itself is beautiful and perfect for relaxing walks around the neighborhood. The location is excellent—just a short drive from Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, and also close to shopping centers, dining, and nightlife. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for anyone visiting the Orlando area.

We enjoyed a wonderful week's stay at Emerald Magic. The house was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the pool and patio were delightful! I just wish we could have stayed longer! We spent most of our time at the Disney Parks and I would have loved a few days just hanging by the pool! Sri was a kind and organized property owner and I would absolutely rent from him again.
